Whisk the yogurt base
Gently whisk the almond milk, yogurt, 2 tbsp maple syrup, vanilla extract and salt in a bowl.

Add the chia
Whisk in the chia seeds and leave the mixture to stand for 30 minutes.

Check after 30 minutes
Check the bottom of the bowl; if the seeds have settled, stir until they are evenly distributed again.

Refrigerate overnight
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the pudding overnight.

Mix the strawberry topping
The next day, toss the strawberries with the remaining 4 tsp maple syrup and the toasted sliced almonds.

Divide and finish
Divide the pudding evenly among four bowls or glasses, then spoon over the strawberry mixture just before serving.

The almond milk is unsweetened and vanilla-flavoured, but the ingredient list also calls for 1 tsp pure vanilla extract.
Measure 240 ml plain Greek yogurt with 2% fat, the same volume as the almond milk.
